Yamaha's Saltwater Series
All Saltwater Series outboards feature Yamaha's
OX66TM Advanced Fuel Injection,
the first outboard EFI to rival automotive standards. Six individual
throttle intakes and fuel injectors give you instant starts, quick
response, superior top-end performance and improved fuel economy.
A 2-Stage Vapor Separator saves fuel and battery power. And our
patented O2 Sensor provides precision fuel output.
- Six Independent Throttle Intakes allow the air/fuel mix to be
fine-tuned to each individual cylinder for superior starts, acceleration
and top-end speed.
- Yamaha's Offset Crankshaft delivers precisely synchronized Firing
order for a smooth, powerful ride.
- Our Mult-Charge Monitoring System ensures that both batteries
are charging whenever the engine is running.
- Precision BlendTM Oil Injection
automatically deliver the precise amount of oil for every load
and speed condition.
- Famed Sure-Seal Tri-Latches seal the cowl tight against water
and debris.
- Yamaha's optional Saltwater Series Prop is designed with torque
control hub for smooth performance and greater fuel efficiency.
- Yamaha's YDC-30 Alloy combines aluminum, silicon, magnesium
and titanium for unmatched resistance against corrosion.
- The convenient Front-Mounted Freshwater Flushing Device makes
it easy to completely flush the engine, in the slip or at home.
- Connect Yamaha's Engine Management System to a GOS unit, and
track your mileage along with your position.
